ABOUT OUR DIGITAL DOWNLOAD PROMOS

We believe in saving the environment from endless packages, plastic wrap and thrown away paper and plastic so we now service a number of our promos in digital only format. What does this mean ? Instead of getting a CD you get a ZIP file with audio MP3s, album art Jpg and PDF press release.

Why is this good ? Well for a start - you can get a digital download much earlier in the production stage than you can a CD. Also aside from saving the environment you're probably saving yourself some time since I'm sure like the rest of us you're most likely to listen to music on a MP3 player and / or a computer as much as you do a stereo.

It might not be so important to you as a writer but you can also be pleased to know that you'll be helping an independent label save money since digital promos cost less. What does that means for your favorite indie - more money to put out other records and help artists tour so more chances to see acts live - now isn't that great ?

Our digital downloads are provided as a unique one time only link in a special html email. You need to make sure that
1. you can receive html emails and have our email in your address book so that the download email does not go into your junk mail folder. If you cannot receive html emails let us know and we can send you a download link in a regular email.
2. that you have our email in your address book so that the email does not go to your junk mail folder
3. You are able to unzip a zip file.

If you are unable to do any of these points but would still like to receive a digital promo we can send you the release via AIM (iChat) - if that doesn't work then the thing to do is call us and we'll find a way of getting you the promo.

An important thing to note - if you cover a digital promo and want the actual CD just ask - we'll make sure you get a finished copy close to or just after release date.

Another note - not all our promos are available digitally - check the page for the release you're interested in and it will be noted there if the record is available digitally or not.
